The Sharks and Crocodiles were very excited to board the bus for their trip to the  Pet Shop.

There was much discussion over what  animals they might see, and they couldn’t wait to get there, so we had a sing-song on the bus to help pass the journey! When we arrived, the pet shop staff were waiting to greet us and show and talk to us about all the animals. The children thought it was wonderful to see many tropical fish of all sizes and colours, and were delighted to be allowed to have a turn at feeding the fish. A very cute turtle was a highlight in the fish tanks too!

The children had a turn at holding and petting the rabbits and a beautiful Persian cat, and had a little play with a gorgeous puppy, who was very excited with all his visitors!

There were guinea pigs and even some tiny baby gerbils to watch playing in their cages too.

The children also had great fun playing with the many interesting pet toys that there for sale!

Everyone had a great time!
